Celebrating NTA 2019 provincial award in Special needs category: Position 1
Casual day
Every first friday of September, we celebrate casual day at our school. The purpose of casual day is to
create awareness and raise funds for people with disabilities. Learners participate in different activities like drama,
jiving, joking, singing and miming, etc. People from different communities are invited to take part in different activities.
Stickers, T-shirts or caps are bought for fund raising. Sometimes we get donations from different companies like Hytel,
Mafikeng Game Reserve , etc.

Soul buddies is a school based program, supported by the DBE aiming to advice learners with differentsocial issues
that affect different learners. Our learners embarked on a journey to Rustenburg in September in which they engaged
in different topics that affect a girl child's social life. The theme of the event was "Keeping a girl child in our school"
